Shawn and I have a similar experiences. We followed main stream health and fitness ideals, decided to compete in a body building competition, health crashed and then somehow we slowly made our way back to health through rest, self love...and Bieber! Okay, that last bit may not be true (even if the Biebs is practically magic) but we both embarrassingly greatly enjoy "Where Are You Now."
It's so crazy how once we reach out to other's we find how NOT alone we are. Shawn and I have our own trials and our own journey but we have many parallels. We are also now not afraid of the 'woo-woo,' we talk to ourselves in the mirror, are both Nutritional Therapy Practitioners and we agree that our periods and our poop are two of the most important places to look in terms of our health.
Shawn manages two autoimmune conditions holistically through food and lifestyle. She tried the meds, the typical western medical suggestion but never found true healing. It's through the approach Eat. Feel. Live. Love. that she has found health, wellness and happiness. Now she, and her business partner, are helping other's to as well through their 28 day challenge.
